What to Expect: Free initial phone consult where we talk about what you know about doulas and I tell you about my trainings and experience. If you would like to meet with me, we will decide during that consultation and schedule to meet in person.

At the first prenatal meeting, we will discuss any questions you may have, any referrals to outside angencies or providers you may need and your birth preferences. The meeting can last up to two hours and can be in your home or a public place. I always encourage you to interview with other doulas so you find the right fit for your and your family's needs.

If you decide to work with me, we will exchange important information and set up a second prenatal appointment.  I am also your pregnancy support since the time of hire to the time of your birth! I have an extensive lending library you will have access to.

 I provide informational support (so you make informed decisions about your birth options), partner support (I do not take the place of the father at all), emotional support (I am with the mother 100% of the time) and physical support (comfort measures such as acupressure and hot and cold packs etc.) during labor and delivery.

​The presence of a doula at your birth:

increases birth satisfaction 

lowers cesarean section rates

increases probability of an intervention-free birth

shortens labor

reduces fear and anxiety about labor and delivery

lowers level of stress hormones

lowers chances of postpartum depression

increases chances of successful breastfeeding​

I will also make referrals and provide resources for outside support on Cape Cod!​



​My service fees include being on call for you two weeks before and two weeks after your due date, unlimited phone and email support, two to three prenatal meetings, two to three postpartum meetings, referrals, resources and of course, your birth! I also have a back up doula that you will meet in rare case of emergency, illness or overlapping births. Please email me for more info or if you're in a financial situation where you cannot pay!
